COLOR | DESIGN | THICKNESS | TEXTURE
Selecting your color combination is one of the most exciting parts of your custom SeaDek design project. SeaDek material is built from two bonded layers: the top layer is your main visible color, and the bottom layer is revealed wherever the top layer is routed or engraved — giving your decking stunning contrast, design depth, and true personalization.
At USATuff, you can choose between our in-stock color combinations for the fastest turnaround or custom color options for complete creative freedom.
Stock Color Combinations (Fastest Turnaround)
We maintain a selection of the most popular SeaDek sheet colors in stock, ready for fast processing and shipment. These combinations offer shorter lead times while achieving a stylish, professional look. Choose from frequently selected pairings such as Mocha over Black, Storm Gray over Black, and more.

Custom Color Options (Full Creativity, Longer Lead Time)
If you’re looking for something uniquely yours, you can select from the full SeaDek color palette and create custom top-layer and bottom-layer combinations. With hundreds of SeaDek color combinations available, these options let you perfectly match your boat’s style and aesthetic. Custom colors are ordered directly from the factory and typically require a 4–5 week lead time with a premium cost.

This is where the fun begins — bringing your SeaDek design ideas to life and making your boat truly your own. Your SeaDek pattern not only defines the look of your decking but also showcases your personality, style, and how you use your boat.
At USATuff, we offer both stock patterns and fully customized SeaDek designs so you can choose the level of personalization that fits your vision.
Stock Patterns (Most Popular & Cost-Effective)
Our most requested SeaDek patterns, including Teak Line and Pin Line, deliver a timeless, classic look that never goes out of style. These designs provide clean lines, excellent traction, and a beautiful finish at an affordable price. We also offer modern geometric designs such as Hexagon, Fractal, and Diamond — ideal for customers who prefer a more contemporary, high-impact aesthetic.

Custom Designs (Tailored to You)
For boaters looking for something completely unique, our in-house design team can create a custom SeaDek design to perfectly match your boat’s layout, logo, or personal style. Whether you want to include your boat name, match existing color accents, or create something entirely new, we’ll transform your concept into a precision-cut, professional-grade decking system.
With SeaDek, you can choose from two distinct texture styles — each with its own look, feel, and performance benefits.
Brushed Texture (The Gold Standard)
The brushed texture is by far the most popular choice among boating enthusiasts — and for good reason. It offers a sleek, professional appearance and exceptional comfort for you, your family, and friends. This is the texture we recommend for most projects. Featuring a fine, lightly linear surface, the brushed finish provides excellent traction even when wet while maintaining a smooth, comfortable feel underfoot. Because we stock this texture in-house, it ensures the fastest turnaround. It’s ideal for helm platforms, swim decks, and seating zones — anywhere you want a premium finish without sacrificing grip or comfort.
Embossed Texture (Custom Option)
For customers seeking a more pronounced surface texture or a rugged visual style, embossed texture is available as a custom option. Its raised, micro-dot pattern provides a firmer, more tactile feel. However, because this finish is less commonly stocked and must be ordered as a factory special, it typically involves additional cost and a longer lead time.

Thickness matters — but it’s all about balancing comfort, performance, and cost. Here’s how we help customers choose the best SeaDek thickness for their project.
6 mm Dual-Layer (Our ‘Most Popular’ Recommendation)
This 6 mm is the sweet spot for most boat owners and the most popular choice across all SeaDek decking designs. Provides excellent comfort for long periods of standing, fishing, water sports, and family activities. The Dual-layer construction adds durability and dimension while keeping the project cost-effective, and because we stock this thickness in-house, you’ll benefit from faster production and no additional custom order fees. For most installations, the difference in comfort between 6 mm and thicker options is minimal — which is why most customers choose this option.
5 mm (Single-Color Laminate)
For a lower-profile installation, the 5 mm SeaDek thickness is available. This single-color option is ideal for smaller areas or light-duty use. It must be custom ordered and carries a longer lead time and additional cost.
8 mm & 13 mm (Two-Color Laminate Options)
For those who prefer a slightly softer feel underfoot, these thicker two-color laminates add additional cushioning. They are available through custom order, with a longer lead time and added cost.
9 mm (Three-Color Laminate Option)
For truly custom SeaDek designs that showcase multiple color layers — such as advanced patterns or logo work — the 9 mm triple-layer laminate is available. This premium option offers unmatched visual depth and personalization but requires custom ordering and extended lead time.
